Throughout the year Jubilee Golf Club organise a range of social events to enrich the experience and enjoyment of members and guests. These may take a range of different formats from club social nights to novelty golf events. Members and guests are welcome to participate. CORPORATE CHALLENGE
The Inaugural Jubilee Corporate Golf Challenge was run early in 2024. Businesses from the local area were invited to compete in a 3-person Ambrose Event, run over four weeks. Golfing experience varied from experienced golfers to complete novices, who came and learnt why golfers are so passionate about the game.
Teams consisted of 3 members representing the business, whether employee, client or friend of the business. They meet at the club at 4:30 on Friday afternoon for 6 holes which took about 1.5 hours. Two teams played together in a group, so players got to meet and learn about other businesses in the town.
After the round was finished, all enjoyed a quick BBQ, some refreshments and to continue the spirit of competition, a chip and run NTP competition was held. This provided some good, and some not so good, shots. Much laughter and good humour abounded which was a great way to finish the working week.
